I wish I had taken a picture of the butternut squash I recently harvested from our garden. I picked two of them; one was ready and the other clearly was not ripe yet. It was really small and definitely not the color of a ripe and ready butternut squash. I was just so darn antsy to use them in a soup that I picked it prematurely.
