Back in December, I posted about my dirty little habit of knowingly eating trans-fats on a regular (eek, sometimes daily) basis. Something I admittedly, was not proud of. So I went on my search for a another tasty, still sugary, hit-the-spot-when-you-need-a-sweet-treat cereal, but something that wouldn’t instantly clog my arteries or send my blood sugar into a diabetic-like tailspin. I think I found one!
People: I did a lot of taste testing here. If I was going to take the time to look for a new cereal to hit the spot, it was going to taste goooood! Mom’s Best Naturals Toasted Cinnamon Squares are Amazing! With a capital A. It’s completely free of trans-fats, high fructose corn syrup, and artificial colors or flavors. It’s pretty awesome that I can pronounce all of the words on this relatively short ingredient list. Sugary and delightful? Yes. Full of hydrogenated oils to mess with my arteries? No. Another serious bonus? This cereal cost me only $2.50 for a family sized 17.5oz box. That my friends, is a steal.
I love that the back of this cereal box has a great list of 10 easy things we can all do to make a difference for the environment!
