Mojito Water Infusion

Whenever I am out with friends at a restaurant or bar (bar = rare) and I’m asked what my favorite drink is, I always have to think really hard about that question. Nic and I are those people with a super stocked liquor cabinet. And by super stocked, I mean there are a ton of full bottles and a ton of options because we never drink any of it. BUT, if I had to choose a couple of favorites, I would definitely choose a margarita or a mojito. Clearly lime is my favorite.

This past 4th of July weekend was a warm one here in Wisconsin and we spent most of the weekend outside enjoying the beautiful weather. To keep these bods of ours hydrated, I made a pitcher of water that was infused with mint and lime. So refreshing and tasty.

The health benefits of adding lime juice to your water include, a boost of vitamin C, help with digestion, and antiviral and antibacterial properties.     for infused waters, to you use any type of special pitcher or do you just, add the stuff to a refrigerator jar?

      You can use whatever pitcher or container you have on hand. So refreshing :)

    Love flavored waters! Always looking for good combinations. Cucumber & lemon (my favorite), mint & lime, ginger & lemon. Or whatever berries + lime or lemon.

    Yum! I like to squeeze half a lime and add two slices of fresh ginger bent in half to release some of the juices into a big glass of water. I usually have this combination with my summer dinner.
